Make like Phileas Fogg and let your imagination soar as you explore our Christmas party. We will take you from ancient Egypt via the souks of Marrakech and ornate temples of Japan, to the snowy hills of Kathmandu. Expect an exciting and eclectic mix of the best food, drink and entertainment the world has to offer.

As your guests enter they will be awestruck by the spectacular and ancient sandstone atrium soaring above them. Here ancient Egypt and Sudan meet the hanging gardens of Babylon – a wonder straight out of the ancient world! Above, on the mezzanine, guests are transported straight to Marrakech where hanging lamps, low chaise longues and sumptuous wall hangings and drapes, evoke the sights and sounds of a Moroccan Riad. Enter our stunning main bar that takes its inspiration from the temples of Japan: adorned with cherry blossom, lanterns and origami cranes and where dancers, acrobats and performers delight the crowds. At the giant igloo bar, our talented bartenders pour the crowds champagne, cocktails, icy beers, wines and spirits, all illuminated by the Northern Lights. Dinner is called and guests are welcomed into the main dining room and marvel at a riot of colourful hot air balloons in a myriad of colours, shapes and sizes as they float alongside bi-planes. Beautiful table decorations and settings welcome diners to their places as they sit down to a pan-global feast. Between courses, breath-taking acts – Chinese Dragons, Cirque performers, whirling dervishes – all entertain the guests. As the DJ starts his set the dancefloor hots up as the most spectacular Christmas party in town reaches its crescendo.

Cheddar cheese soufflé with caramelised fig, red onion jam, rocket and pumpkin seed salad, and an apple cider vinaigrette (v)

Rosemary butter roasted breast of Cotswold chicken with caramelised white onion and sage purée, potato gratin, roast winter greens, and a thyme and red wine sauce

Risotto of roast Lancashire beetroot with caramelised onion and a red chicory salad (v)

Dessert

Sticky toffee, orange and date pudding with dark chocolate ice cream and salted caramel fudge sauce
